Welcome to Corfu Buddha Hall!
Here are some info to facilitate your stay during the Gurdjieff Movements Awareness Intensive with Jivan.

The program will be held in the very beautiful Buddha Hall at Magoulades (near to Arillas).
Your accommodation and meals will be organized by us.

The workshop will begin at 10a.m on the 1st day (August 18th), and end around 3p.m. on the last (August 27th).
Participants may arrive one day before their Program starts and leave one day after it ends.
Meals will be served accordingly.
However, we can book the hotel for extra days if requested.

ACCOMMODATION:

Tents:
Up to now we have space for 6 tents.
People should bring their own tent.
We provide mattresses, sheets, blankets, pillows.
In case of rain, cold, or at anytime, tent people can move to the B Hall.

Dorm:
Dormitory accommodation is in the B Hall.
We provide mattresses, sheets, blankets, pillows.

Villa accommodations on the campus:
There are a few bedrooms (single/double) in Francis Villa. Check for availability.

Hotel:
"IRINI Apartments" at Arillas
- each room has private bathroom, balcony and kitchenette

PRICES PER DAY PER PERSON (meals included)

Dorm - Tent: 35 €
Double (Hotel) : 40 €
Double (Villa) : 48 €
Single (Hotel) : 45 €
Single (Villa) : 53 €

Buddha Hall is situated a few minutes drive from Arillas and you will need transport to get there.
So if you choose to stay at the hotel, you will need to hire your own daily local transportation - scooter, car or car share with friends. It is possible to rent a vehicle on your own from the many available car rental companies around Arillas. However, if you would like, we at Buddha Hall can organize your transportation for you. Please read on for details.
Another possibility for those staying at the hotel, if you decide not to book daily local transportation is to share a private taxi at 8 € per day per person. You may also book this in advance through us.

TRANSPORTATION from AIRPORT / HARBOR

If you book a car with us, we can have it ready for you at the Corfu Airport or Harbor. From there it is less than one hour drive to Magoulades. You will be provided with a map and easy directions. You can return the car at the Airport at the end of your stay.

If you do not book a car, we recommend to take a seat in our private shuttle. The cost of the shuttle is 20 € each way per person.

LOCAL TRANSPORTATION

If you would like, we at Buddha Hall can book your local transportation for you.

	Cars, group A (4 people): Hyundai Atos, Fiat Panda 30 € to 32 € per day
	Hyundai Getz, Peugeot 206, Fiat Punto 34 € to 36 € per day
	Ford Focus 1.6, Peugeot 407 1.6, Chevrolet Lacceti 1.6 52 € to 54 € per day
	Jeeps: Suzuki Jimny 46 € to 48 € per day
	Scooters, 50 cc. and 100 cc. 12 € to 18 € per day
	Buggies, 22 € to 40 € per day

 

All cars have A/C.

The differences in prices concern the length of your booking.

Car prices include full insurance. Scooters prices include 3rd party insurance.

No deposit is due ahead of delivery date. You must pay the full vehicle price for the rental at the time when you pick it up.

Cars can be delivered at the Airport, at the Harbor, or at your Hotel. Scooters are delivered at your Hotel.

We need:
- The dates when you want the vehicle
- copy of your driver licence(s). The insurance allows up to two driver licences per car. All European and North American driver licences are accepted. The International drivers licence is accepted. If you have a different driver licence please let us know and we will find out.
